A structured light patterns – stripes, if you like call it Zebra is projected onto an object, when their distorsions are captured by cameras, from multiple angles. Angles between two cameras introduce triangulation principle (see Figure 1). Idea behind is, length of one side of triangle is known and also two of its angles, then length of other sides can be calculated.
